'We were all promised heaven in our lifetimes and what we
ended up with can't help but suffer in comparison.
And God You get old so quickly' (Generation X)
Sometimes it seems that the day to day takes over from the goals we once had. We get a job to tide us over, our expectations diminish and the trivial becomes inproportionately important. We mortgage our lives on fame and the quick fix, terrified of not making a 'success' of our lives or finding our place.
Are we stuck in a rut? Are our dreams unrealistic?
Or is this just how growing up goes?
Stories of the "New Lost Generation"
Written and devised by the company
Directed by Sarah Elaine Stewart

When I grow up I want to be a princess who falls in love
And sleeps on a bed of feathers and butterflies
And be a ballerina and sing songs
And be a mermaid with long blond hair
And leave a trail of breadcrumbs so I never get lost
And be like everyone else
YOU. WILL. BE. HAPPY.
